These guidelines apply to all conference attendees as well as accompanying guests. We encourage you to apply early for a conference visa.

To attend the XI BRICS+ Legal Forum all international attendees will require a conference visa. Other categories of visa are not recognised for attending the forum.

Register for the forum (provide your passport details during the registration process). On registering successfully, the host organisation, the Bar Association of India, will issue a letter of invitation and documentation to assist you with your visa application.

Please allow some time for the organisers to issue your visa confirmation letter. Only those whose registration has been successfully done will be issued a letter.

Please note: A conference visa may be obtained through the electronic visa process or through a physical process, depending on the jurisdiction of the applicant. CLICK HERE to view the list of countries eligible for the e-visa process. Generally, the time for processing an e-visa is two weeks. However, since this process may take longer, we encourage you to register early for the conference and apply for the conference e-visa well ahead of your travel.

Delegates from countries that are not on the e-visa list, must apply physically for a conference visa from the Indian Embassy / Consulate / High Commission by submitting the passport. Those applying physically should submit their completed applications at least two months in advance of the travel dates for the forum.
